Hello, my name is Mika, MBACP. DipHE Psyc. Dip Couns
I am a qualified person-centred counsellor, student psychotherapist and the founder of Meeks Counselling and Psychotherapy.
Meeks Counselling and Psychotherapy is a small supportive group practice, made up of carefully selected associate counsellors who share the same values of warmth, professionalism, and genuine care.
We offer face-to-face sessions in our private therapy rooms in North Manchester and Blackpool, as well as online and telephone sessions, making counselling accessible to all.
At Meeks Counselling and Psychotherapy, we provide a safe, down-to-earth space to talk things through. Sometimes life can feel heavy - even when you can’t quite put your finger on why. We support people through anxiety, loss, stress, major life changes and the moments when life feels overwhelming. Whether you’re feeling anxious, trapped in negative thoughts or just need someone to listen without judgement, therapy can help you find clarity, calm and confidence again.
Our Therapeutic Approach?
Our therapists work primarily from a Person-centred approach, with some also integrating elements of CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy). This means our work is unique to your individual needs, while providing practical coping strategies to help you manage thoughts, emotions and behaviours more effectively.
