Mika

Mika is the founder of Meeks Counselling and Psychotherapy and a qualified counsellor with a particular focus on bereavement, ADHD and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Bereavement work is at the heart of her practice, shaped by extensive experience supporting individuals through loss and grief.

Mika supports client’s who experience overwhelming thoughts or feel stuck in making sense of their experiences and moving forward in a way that feels right for them.

Gary

Gary is an experienced counsellor who also works with Victim Support, supporting individuals affected by crime and trauma. Through this work, he has developed a strong understanding of the emotional impact of distressing and life-changing experiences, and the importance of working gently, safely, and at the client’s own pace.

Sameena

Sameena works primarily with teenagers experiencing family or relationship breakdowns, emotional distress and exam-related stress, as well as with adults facing complex difficulties such as alcohol addiction and substance misuse. She provides a compassionate, non-judgemental space, supporting clients through challenging experiences with care and sensitivity.

Francesca has over 20 years of experience working with young people and feels incredibly passionate about supporting teenagers as they navigate the challenges of growing up.

Francesca is also an active volunteer with SHOUT, the UK’s free text crisis service.

Francesca also has over two years of experience supporting neurodivergent young people, with an understanding that every individual is unique and deserves a safe, supportive space.
